Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Forever Invites (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Forever Invites provides a platform to create and share digital wedding invitations, collect RSVPs, and manage guest seating. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Account registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to register.

4. Payment and access

Access to publish an invitation requires a one-time payment per wedding. Prices are displayed at checkout. All payments are processed by our payment provider and are subject to their terms.

Refunds: Due to the digital nature of the product, refunds are not available once an invitation has been published and shared. If you experience a technical fault that prevents you from using the Service, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will investigate.

Expiry: Your invitation remains live from the date of purchase until 3 months after your wedding date, after which it is automatically taken offline and your data is deleted.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload content that is offensive, defamatory, infringing, or harmful to others.
• Attempt to access, probe, or disrupt the infrastructure of the Service.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or its content.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of all content you upload (names, photos, text, music links). By uploading content you grant us a limited licence to store and display it solely for the purpose of operating your invitation. We do not claim ownership of your content.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload, including music.

7. Guest data

If you upload guest names or email addresses, you confirm you have the right to do so and that your guests are aware their data will be used in connection with your wedding invitation. You act as the data controller for your guests' personal data; we process it on your behalf.

8. Intellectual property

The Forever Invites platform, design, and code are our property. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Forever Invites is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant wedding.

10. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may occasionally perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability and will endeavour to give advance notice where possible.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or a notice on the site.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Forever Invites is registered. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
